These Guinea pigs are not in One Life at a Time Animal Rescue but have been looking for their forever home for over a year now, if you think you have the right home for these guys, please contact Demitria at demitria_nmt@yahoo.com
Mocha and Caramel were originally rescued from a home that could no longer look after them. They were living in a tiny cage that was filthy. Thankfully they were taken out of that environment and placed in a much larger cage with a proper diet. They are fairly shy when you go to pick them up but once in your arms, they are very sweet.
Mocha and Caramel are around three years old; they are a bonded pair of male guinea pigs. Mocha is a crested tri color and Caramel is an American Guinea pig. Both guinea pigs are easy going and get on very well with each other. They also LOVE their vegetables.
The minimum cage size for a pair of guinea pigs is 7.5 square feet, they must have timothy hay at all times and need fresh vegetables every day that are high in vitamin C i.e. bell peppers, kale, parsley, broccoli etc. These are the basic requirements for a pair of guinea pigs.
