Meet Meatball and Coconut
Out of all of the piggies involved with the huge animal abuse case from Montgomery County, these 2 adult boys were probably the most effected. They are shy, quiet boys that seem to lack confidence. And yet they accept and even enjoy love and attention.
Meatball is the sweetest golden agouti. He has a small bald spot on his back that is believed to be from stress barbering. It's unknown if the fur will grow back, but his very check has medically cleared him for adoption.
His cagemate, Coconut, has the most stunning fur color. It's a black/ silver/ blonde color that I've never seen before. It's just gorgeous. We don't have an exact age on these boys, but is estimated to be around 2 years old. They are healthy, adorable, lovable boys looking for a home that will love them for the rest of their lives. If you are looking for a friend that will be loyal and loving, these boys are waiting for you.
Boys or girls?? Males are usually much more cuddly at an earlier age than females. Males get along just as well as females.
Like all bonded pairs, they have to be adopted together. If you would like to meet these boys, any of the other adoptable piggies at the rescue, or would like more information please email wheekcare2017@gmail.com.
Guinea pigs are social animals and should always have at least one other friend of their own kind. These wonderful little creatures live an average of 6 to 8 years. We’ve even seen them live until they were 9-10 years old! Children under the age of 12 should always be supervised by an adult when holding guinea pigs. Also, a responsible adult should supervise their care and well-being. Email us at wheekcare2017@gmail.com for more information including our adoption form and our Guinea Pig Care Packet with the essential information all guinea pig owners should have.
