Kamala & Millie Rat Rat Norcross, GA

Meet Kamala & Millie, these two social girls are two cases together. Millie came to us as a feeder save from a roommate who feel in love with her sweet nature and passed her onto someone who could hopefully keep her as a pet but she also had to many animals already to care for so needed to give her up. Kamala came to us after she was gotten as a present to a young child who didn't want her and she was a lonely rat. These girls were surrendered about the same time and introduced while in fostering, they quickly became best friends and are inseparable.

Millie is super social, she playtime, treats and to roam around and explore. She is a natural leader. Kamala is opening up and learning from Millie but still doesn't like to be picked up so we use a small pouch to let her crawl into and then pick her up, once she's out and on you she's fine. She takes treats gently and politely. We think she may have vision problems which is why she gets defensive and scared about being corned and picked up out of the cage with your bare hands. As long as you use the pouch method, she is great.
