Meet Bessie and Isabella
Bessie and Isabelle are young, sweet sisters. Bessie and her mom and dad were abandoned in a yard and left to greens for themselves. Bessie was just a couple weeks old, and was lucky to have survived. Her sibling wasn't that lucky. Members of our rescue were able to catch mom, dad, and Bessie. Because Bessie was so young, she socialized easily. Mom was obviously pregnant again and Isabelle was born in the rescue. Both girls are healthy and looking for their forever home where they don't have to live in fear of being thrown away like garbage.
Like all bonded pairs, they have to be adopted together. If you would like to meet these piggies,
or any of the other adoptable piggies at the rescue, or if you would like more information, please email wheekcare2017@gmail.com.
Guinea pigs are social animals and should always have at least one other friend of their own kind. These wonderful little creatures live an average of 5 to 7 years. We’ve even seen them live until they were 9-10 years old! Children under the age of 12 should always be supervised by an adult when holding guinea pigs. Also, a responsible adult should supervise their care and well-being. Email us at wheekcare2017@gmail.com for more information including our adoption form and our Guinea Pig Care Packet with the essential information all guinea pig owners should have.
