Meet XL Common Snapping Turtle

I am a common snapping turtle for adoption in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. I'm an adult, 14" and over 22 years old. I've been a pet for 19 years. You'll need a 300 gallon stock tank with a strong filter, basking area, and heat/UVB lights, if you don't have a pond in an escape-proof yard. I'm very active and love to eat, but I DO NOT like to be handled. Because I didn't get the right care early on, my shell is a little too small for my body, but I swim and walk and get around just fine.
Our snappers eat Mazuri small aquatic crocadilian pellets, but ZooMed Growth Formula pellets are good, too. They love strawberries.
Please do not request an application unless you already have an idea of what is needed to properly care for a snapping turtle.
