Meet Glimmer

Glimmer is a presumed juvenile female African sideneck turtle. She was part of a hoarding case and initially had a bad wound on her neck. With some vet care, she healed up well and she is back to normal turtle activities. Glimmer eats well and will come to the front of the enclosure when we feed her. Her adoption fee is $30.
Right now, Glimmer will require a minimum 40 gallon enclosure, though bigger is always better! As an adult, she will need a 75 gallon enclosure or larger. Turtles need canister filters as they produce a lot of waste. Sideneck turtles also need a basking spot, UVB lamp, heat lamp, and water heater.
