Meet Georgia
Intake date: 9/2/23
Status: Available on 10/2/23
Georgia is an adult female three toed box turtle. Her history is unknown as she was given to a teacher by a student. She was surrendered in good shape, although her beak and claws were very overgrown. We trimmed these and she looks great now. Georgia has a good appetite and is a little shy, which is typical with three-toeds. Her adoption fee is $60.
Right now, Georgia will require a minimum 4' x 2' enclosure, though bigger is always better! We strongly recommend having both indoor and outdoor enclosures for turtles, as they thrive outdoors and this gives them a chance to naturally wear down their claws and beak. These turtles need diverse diets, UVB/heat lamps, and soil that allows them to burrow.
