Dragonite Reptile Bearded Dragon Raleigh, NC

Dragonite is in need of a very special home, with the most loving of humans.
He came from an abandonment/neglect case along with 3 leopard geckos. Unfortunately, he was the one in the worst condition.
Dragonite has gained weight during his quarantine period here and continues to gain weight and has been cleared as a healthy beardie now. His true personality has begun to shine through. He loves to be carried around and enjoys hanging out with his caretaker. He is a very sweet soul.

Dragonite is blind. Veterinarians are not quite sure what caused this originally or if he has always been this way. They have made note that the eyes themselves observe healthy but do not appear to function normally and do not look quite normal when examining his pupils. They say it is possible that after a very prolonged period of time under poor lighting may have been the true cause. They also do not know if it’s possible he may regain sight over time or if this is permanent.

Dragonite at this time is hand fed and is a great eater! With a modified cage it’s possible he could eat on his own more frequently.

He would make a great companion for the perfect person who accepts him for who he is and doesn’t mind his downfall.
