Meet Batman: The Heroic Leopard Gecko in Need of a New Home! ??


Hi, I’m Batman! I was surrendered on June 15, 2024, and have been under the watchful eye of our vet. I’m now ready for my next adventure with a loving new family.


I’m a Dark Knight Leopard Gecko, and I’m here to bring a bit of superhero magic to your home. As part of Clear the Shelters Month, we're excited to offer me for adoption with a special twist—no set adoption fee! Instead, J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue is asking for a donation to help support our ongoing rescue efforts.


A Few Care Tips for Batman:

- Habitat: Provide at least a 20-gallon tank with a secure lid. Use a substrate like reptisand or slate tile for easy cleaning.
- Temperature: Maintain a warm side at 88-97°F and a cooler side at 75-80°F. A heat mat under one side of the tank is perfect for this.
- Diet: Offer a variety of live insects such as crickets, mealworms, and dubia roaches, dusted with calcium and vitamin D3 supplements.
- Hydration: Always have fresh, clean water available. A shallow water dish works great!
- Hide Spots: Provide at least two hiding spots—one on the warm side and one on the cool side.
