Meet Aurora
Aurora is a juvenile ball python who was surrendered to us on 9/3/22 and is only about a year old.
She is the funniest and most curious girl. She's a nosy girl too - always wanting to know what's going on around the reptile room and holds her head up very high to get a look. Like she's supervising. She absolutely adores her swing.
Reptiles at Small Pet Safe House are quarantined for a minimum of 30 days to be sure they are healthy and that they are able to eat and shed well. Aurora is able to do both but sometimes has trouble with her eye caps and needs assistance. Our reptiles are fed frozen/thawed rodents and we strongly discourage feeding live.
Adopters need to be very mindful of the size and lifespan ball pythons can reach. Females tend to be larger than males at an average of 5 feet in length but can get as long as 7, though that is rare, and will therefore require large enclosures. They also live about 30 years.
Adoption fees for ball pythons is $50 and all adoption fees go to an account dedicated to providing vet care for incoming rescues. We do not ship reptiles.
