This older couple of gals were abandoned on the side of the road in Carmel, NY. They sat there for a few days - yes same spot, until a couple caught them and brought the to MHIY. We believe that this is a mother/daughter duo, but not positive. We believe they are older, but no way of knowing their exact age.
These ladies do love to be pet, however they require some time getting to know new people. We know nothing of their past, but dumped on the side of the road tells us all we need to know.....they will need a special family that will allow them time to adjust to their new home. and show them the love they should have already known for years.
There is a suggested donation of $100.00 for this duo.
As with all our adoptable pets, there is an approved application with veterinarian and personal references required. Once you have been approved we will contact you to schedule an appointment for you to come meet your potential newest family member along with a few others that may fit your specific families situation.
It is VERY important to us that your furry friend enjoys your company as well as you enjoy theirs!
You must be willing to come to Dutchess County, New York to personally meet with us and sign an adoption contract. Under no circumstances will we ship our pets.
