Meet Thumper
Thumper is one of our intakes from the 16 abandoned bunnies from the Arab trailer crisis. You can read more about the conditions on our page here https://huntsvillehouserabbits.com/arab-abandoned-bunnies
We in the process of getting spays, neuters, and vaccinations done, but would love to find the forever homes for these bunnies while we complete this.
Like many rescued bunnies, Thumper is appreciative of affection and attention. She is very cuddly and very sweet. She loves food and treats and attention. She would love a soothing, happy, calm person who can give lots of attention and love.
She would likely enjoy a bunny friend and loved younger bunny Dottie. Sadly, Dottie passed away from what we believe was a preexisting condition which triggered a cardiac event. We believe Thumper is either Dottie’s older sibling or possibly her young mother. Thumper has grieved and processed this loss, but we would love for her to have a bunny friend by her side and think that would help her.
Rabbits can live 10-12 years with good care, and should be kept indoors. We would love to help you learn about bunny care if you are considering adoption. Foster-to-adopt is also an option.
Please submit an adoption or foster form (for foster-to-adoption option) on our website: www.huntsvillehouserabbits.com
Adoption fee for a single bunny is $100 or $150 for a bonded pair of bunnies and includes spay/neuter and RHDV2 vaccination.
