Meet Stuart Little
(Updated 5/2/2024)
Stuart Little is under a year old, neutered, and vaccinated against RHDV2.
Stuart Little was abandoned outside some apartments near West Madison Elementary in February 2024. Stuart did not know how to survive. When he saw our volunteers looking for an abandoned bunny, he ran straight up to them as if to ask for help. He was so happy to be safe! We will never understand why people dump pets.
While Stuart is cuddly with people, we believe he would be best in a home with a lot of patience for litter training and without other pets. Stuart would likely do best with a family / pet parent who has a lot of time at home with him and does *not* have another bunny.
Stuart enjoys playing and treats. He has never been known to nip and is quite sweet to people he is just meeting.
Stuart is a very small bunny and has the characteristic coloring and markings of a Netherland Dwarf breed. He is a blue-lilac gray color with white outlines on his nose and face.
Like many rescued bunnies, Stuart is appreciative of affection and attention. He is very cuddly and very sweet. He loves food and treats and attention. He would love a soothing, happy, calm person who can give lots of attention and love.
Rabbits can live 10-12 years with good care, and should be kept indoors. We would love to help you learn about bunny care if you are considering adoption. Foster-to-adopt is also an option.
Please submit an adoption or foster form (for foster-to-adoption option) on our website: www.huntsvillehouserabbits.com
Adoption fee for a single bunny is $100 and includesneuter and RHDV2 vaccination.
