Hershey & Nestlé (bonded brother pair) Rabbit Rex Huntsville, AL

Hershey & Nestle are two friendly boy bunnies rescued from a Southern Tennessee location. These bunnies were dumped outside by an individual who told us that she did not want the rabbits, gave us permission to enter the location and asked us to please take the rabbits away. The rabbits were found to have multiple injuries (now fully healed) due to lack of care by the individual and exposure to dangerous circumstances. The bunnies are now in excellent health, but due to behaviors of the previous owner, we have decided to protect these bunnies by providing a graphic image for our Petfinder listing.

Nestle is a Rex bunny and Hershey is a Siamese satin mix bunny. They are both boys, both neutered and RHDV2 vaccinated, and in great health. They are both under a year old.

These boys are very closely bonded, likely from trauma they endured together. Despite this, they are extremely friendly rabbits and absolutely love people and attention. These bunnies are excited to greet people and love nose pets!

Both bunnies have a record at one of our local veterinary clinics. Both are in very good health and now have no evidence of their initial injuries (fully healed and no lasting effects).

Rabbits can live 10-12 years with good care and an indoor, safe living space! Rabbits need daily Timothy hay, nutritious pellets, greens/veggies, and a bowl of fresh water. Free-roaming or exercise pens work best! We do not recommend cages or hutches or outdoor housing.
