Meet Scout (Vancouver)
From his foster family, who say they are "smitten" with him:
He free roams but doesn't choose to venture beyond the area rug. He's definitely more curious, happy and confident as time goes on. He absolutely loved the snow!!! He dug tunnels all around the patio and it's the most we ever saw him race around. He now jumps on the couch with us and normally lets us pet him. I don't know that he'll ever be a cuddle bug but he's very sweet in his own way. We now get nudges when he's looking for attention and he seems happy to just hang out with us.
He can sometimes be defensive of his space (he still occasionally lunges but it's much less now). He will need a rabbit lover who is willing to be patient with him. Some one-on-one time with treats will go a long way. He is a clean bunny and not a destructive boy.
A quiet, calm home will be best for Scout. If you can give him a loving home like that, please apply today!
The adoption fee is $75 per rabbit. Please go to www.vrra.org for our adoption application. We follow the House Rabbit Society adoption policies. For everything you need to know about caring for a bunny, visit the House Rabbit Society website at: www.rabbit.org. We strongly encourage all prospective bunny adopters to pick up a copy of “The House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an Urban Rabbit,” available from most online sellers (e.g., Amazon) as well at our shelter.
