Meet Rocky
Breed: Californian
Size: Medium
DOB: Adult
Reason in Rescue: Caught outside
Personality: Sweet, friendly, and affectionate
Friends: I think I would make a good friend
Hi my name is Rocky, I was caught out side on a pile of rocks at the peninsula. That is how I got my name because my rescuers had to climb the rocks to get me.
I am a sweet bunny and just love attention, if you want to spend the day petting me I think I might like that. I know I have red eyes and that scares some people off but you should give me a chance and I will show you what a great bunny I am. Hope to see you soon.
• Requirements •
Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with a large to x-large dog crate or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). We do not recommend plastic bottom cages or hutches.
• Adoption process •
An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.eriearearabbitsociety.org), and approved by our adoption committee. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. If you have any other questions you can email at eriearearabbitsocietyandrescue@gmail.com or call (814)838-9732.
• Recommended Food •
- Oxbow, Sherwood, Small Pet Select or Kaytee timothy pellets, about 1/4 cup per day
- Unlimited timothy hay
- 2-3 cups of fresh, dark leafy green vegetables per day
