Breed: Dutch
Size: ideal weight should be about 5 lbs for this guy
DOB: Around 2 years old as of 1/22
Reason in Rescue: Patrick came to us after his owners moved away and left him behind in an apartment. His nails were inches long, he was horrifically overweight, and his rear end was caked in matted fur and poop.
Personality: Even though Patrick was clearly neglected, he is just a big, sweet baby. He’s already losing weight and has been such a trooper about nail trims, rear end washes, and hair cuts. He literally just wants to be petted and loved. We discovered after taking him in that he was already neutered which was super surprising but apparently no one cared enough to want to take him with them. He is just sweet as can be and I just want the rest of his life to be filled with love! He is very good with his litter box!
Friends: He is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $70 which includes his neuter and microchip.
