Meet Otto
Meet Otto! This handsome boy is a 5 year old black otter Mini Rex who loves to run and explore! He's both cautious and curious, and while it may take him a while to warm up, his inquisitive nature tends to take over once he's settled in. Some of his favorite activities include napping on fleece blankets, chewing up cardboard boxes, playing with stacking cups, and tossing various toys around his pen. Like most rabbits, Otto is not a fan of being picked up and would prefer interactions be on his level as much as possible. He does enjoy forehead pets, but hates having his tail touched, so unless you want to be growled and honked at, we suggest you stay away from his South Pole!
Otto can be a bit picky about his pellets, but he loves hay, spring mix, cilantro, and parsley. He is also a fan of carrots and blueberries, but should get these in moderation as treats with higher sugar content can sometimes upset his tummy. He has has excellent litter habits and would likely do very well as a free roaming bunny (with appropriate rabbit proofing, of course!).
An ideal home for Otto would be a quieter home without small children as he isn't a fan of loud noises or rapid movements. He would also really like a friend as he recently lost his bondmate and has been pretty sad without her. Otto has done very well with dogs in the past, and would likely do well with cats too, so long as they treat him with respect.
