Clearly Moira & Blake have some impressive hairdos! But these two precious buns also have a strong bond and are ready to take on their next adventure, as long as they are together.

Moira first came to Luna’s House in August 2020 when she was transferred to us from an open-admission shelter. One of many rabbits taken in from an Animal Control case, Moira was only four months old when we met her.

Once she was healthy, spayed, and ready for adoption, Moira understandably garnered a lot of attention for her adorable looks. She was adopted in November 2020 as a companion for the handsome, dashing Blake.

We were contacted by Moira’s previous adopter in September 2022–Moira & her husbun Blake were going to be returning to Luna’s House. Though saddened that Moira was losing her adoptive home, we were comforted that she would have Blake by her side.

Moira is now 3 years old and Blake is approximately 5 years of age (as of June 2023). These two were rather timid when they first came back to our care, but have begun to develop confidence, especially having one another on whom to depend.

Despite her voluminous coat, Moira is a very petite girl—only a tad over two pounds in weight. Because of her tiny size and both buns’ more reserved personalities, they will need to go to a home without smaller children. Moira in particular also needs regular brushing and grooming to ensure her coat remains unmatted and healthy. We would like Moira & Blake to be adopted into a home with previous rabbit experience.

Once we have received and approved your completed application, we can schedule a time for you to come meet with rabbits available for adoption to see with whom you have the best connection. Our adoption fee for a pair of rabbits is $125. This is a donation meant to help us cover part of the cost of caring for the animal you are adopting while (s)he is with us, including veterinary exam, spay or neuter surgery, deworming, RHDV2 vaccination, microchip, food, bedding, etc.

Moira & Blake have both been vaccinated against RHDV2.
