Meet Merry
Merry is a 3.5 year old black neutered male lionhead mix. He is a quiet bunny that loves to eat and relax, with the occasional spurt of zoomies and binkies. His favorite foods are salad greens and banana, but he loves all food! Merry has a sensitive tummy and sometimes needs a little help with cleaning himself. This can mostly be managed by making sure he doesn't get too many treats, and eats mostly hay.
Merry would love to find a quiet home where he can feel safe enough to explore and relax. He would also love a companion bunny, although his partner would need to be submissive, as he tends to be dominant. Merry has some destructive tendencies such as digging and chewing, but these have not been an issue in his current home, as he is provided with lots of cardboard to destroy! Merry is litter box trained, with the exception of territorial poop he leaves around his space (virtually every bunny does this - bunny poop is tiny, dry, hard pellets that can be easily swept up). Although he is shy at first, he will warm up and loves to be pet. However, Merry does not tolerate being held, except for the necessary groom and nail trim.
Please reach out if you would like to meet Merry! Candidates will be screened thoroughly. Only adults will be considered, bunnies do not make good pets for children. Please visit rabbit.org for the most reliable information on caring for a house rabbit.
