Meet Maxwell!

Maxwell was rescued in April 2024 after being reported in Surrey hopping around a neighbourhood with an injured leg. He was found hiding under a Japanese maple tree.

This young rabbit is very lucky he was reported and rescued; he was badly injured, with a broken and twisted back leg. He was underweight, with a bad infection in his broken leg with an open wound. The amazing medical team at Eagle Ridge Animal & Bird Hospital did an exam/amputation/neuter & his RHD vaccine. Maxwell has recovered well after all his amputation and treatment.

Maxwell is now looking for his furever home! Could that be with you? Maxwell is shy and cautious still learning to trust people. He would do best in a quiet adult home. A home experienced with rabbits would be great.

Maxwell might do bond with the right female match. He is good with his litter habits though not perfect yet (he is still learning).

Maxwell loves hidey boxes, tents, and tunnels. He enjoys stacking cups and chew toys. He is a great hay eater and loves his nightly greens.
