Meet Magnolia and Oleander
Meet Magnolia and Oleander! These two sisters (affectionately called the Tree Twins) are a bonded pair that like to be social!
Magnolia is grey, and Oleander is her REW(red eye white) counterpart. While they enjoy interacting with people, they prefer to keep all four (or eight) paws on the ground! They are a little shy, but absolutely love the opportunity to investigate, explore, and zoom around! They are young rabbits born in September of 2021, so they are still learning their bunny ways!
Because of their age and recent spays, they are still learning their litter habits! Their favorite toys to demolish are cardboard boxes and timothy hay toys. They have not been around children, but we think they would do well in a home with them as long as they understand that these gorgeous gals don’t like to be picked up! They have done just fine around calm dogs, so quiet cats should be OK as well.
The best home for them is one that has time to spend with them and help them grow into well-behaved house bunnies.
If you think Magnolia and Oleander are the bunnies for you, please apply to adopt at www.iowarabbitrescue.org/adopt.
