Meet Lizzo

Lizzo is a large rabbit (10 lbs) with beautiful markings on her ears. She has a mellow personality and loves being held and petted. She is looking for someone with a lap and time to give her as much attention as she can get. She is already litter box trained and has good manners, but she will ask to come out of her pen to explore later in the evening and she might even let herself out if she isn't in a sturdy exercise pen. Like all rabbits, she needs a a safe, bunny-proofed room that has toys and cardboard boxes, and doesn't have exposed cords and house plants.

Lizzo is one of our lucky rabbits being cared by House Rabbit Society volunteers at the Arden Petco (1878 Arden Way - across from the mall) while looking forward to finding a forever home.

If you need more information about rabbits before the next event or would like to attend an adoption event, see the information below:

We do not have a shelter to introduce our foster rabbits and our volunteers have limited time to respond to all online inquiries, so the best way to meet one of our rabbits is to attend our next adoption day. Sometimes people bond to a different rabbit in person than the one they choose online.
**If you send an inquiry, be sure to include information about your interest in a rabbit, experience level, current household (family and other pets), and planned space for a new rabbit. The more information you provide will help get a faster response.

All rabbits are spayed/neutered (age permitting) and litter box trained. All rabbits are to be adopted to indoor homes only.

Current bunny parents are encouraged to bring their rabbits to adoption clinics if they are interested in adopting a companion rabbit. Your rabbit must be spayed or neutered to be eligible to meet one of our fosters. SHRS volunteers will be happy to help your bunny through that feisty first date.
