Meet Lincoln
Lincoln is a loving, sweet, affectionate boy.
He was dumped in a neighborhood and left to fend for himself.
We don't know if he was born with the deformity or if he had endured some sort of trauma. It has been extensively examined by veterinarians on several occasions. It is not fixable and an amputation is not needed since he is completely mobile, and shows no signs of pain or discomfort right now.
Special needs: Left back leg has previous unknown trauma. His leg hasn't hindered his mobility and he can hop, jump and get around with no issues.
Great Hay eater, quite tolerant of all other bunnies he has come in contact with.
If left alone in an x-pen be prepared to chase him down, because although he has a gimp leg; he is one of the best jumpers we have. Most of the time we can't even hear him-he completely clears the 32" x pen.
He lives in a two story enclosure and loves to go up and down his ramp. The flooring is part carpet and part linoleum. Carpet because although he has no mobility issues, it helps him with traction.
Not sure if it is because he is bored or ready to have more room to roam on a daily basis, he has started to dig at the carpet. This is a behavior that may or may not continue.
Close monitoring by new adopters would be recommended.
No other health issues the entire time he has been here.
If you are interested in Lincoln please start by filling out our adoption application. Feel free to follow up at our email gaunttfarmantics@gmail.com
