Meet King Louie
Breed: Rex mix
Size: Medium
DOB: Arrived 7/18/23
Reason in Rescue: Caught outside
Personality: friendly, sweet and quiet
Friends: May make a good friend
Hi my name is King Louie. As you may be thinking I was named after a character in the jungle book. There were 5 of us all caught in the same area and the rescuers had to go through what they called a jungle to get us. So that is how we all got our names. I am a little shy but not to bad, I am starting to come out of my shell since I have been around so many people. I love to get out and exercise and I even like just to sit there and let you pet me. I am a more laid back bunny and would like a quiet home to call my own. Please come meet me and my friends and see which one of us we be the best match for you.
• Requirements •
Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with a large to x-large dog crate or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). We do not recommend plastic bottom cages or hutches.
• Adoption process •
An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.eriearearabbitsociety.org), and approved by our adoption committee. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. If you have any other questions you can email at eriearearabbitsocietyandrescue@gmail.com or call (814)838-9732.
• Recommended Food •
- Oxbow, Sherwood, Small Pet Select or Kaytee timothy pellets, about 1/4 cup per day
- Unlimited timothy hay
- 2-3 cups of fresh, dark leafy green vegetables per day
