Meet Jellybean

Jellybean is a neutered, three year old spotted mini-Rex. His black spots make him appear as though he’s wearing a cute superhero mask. He is indeed a rabbit of mystery. His fur is so incredibly soft. If you think about rubbing your hand against velvet, then it would be much like petting Jellybean. However, as soft as he is, he only likes a few pets to the head, then feels satisfied with affection, and will return to a comfortable spot. Jellybean can be territorial potentially due to his past and will grunt to let you know he is not happy. He has become more outgoing with his new foster mom. A slow approach is still recommended. His behaviors indicate he had limited space prior to being fostered. When first arriving at his current foster home, he had sore hocks which have since healed. He loves his dig box which he uses for mainly chewing as his biggest entertainment. Bunny proofing is a must, as with most rabbits. He loves the healthy snackers from SPS, eats some romaine here and there, and goes crazy with zoomies! He enjoys exploring and loves his free roam time. He likes to find a quiet place on a blanket or a rug to chill after running around. He accepts some head pets but is still sometimes unsure of people. He is not kid friendly, but a patient adult with a quiet lifestyle would be perfect for him. He likes to lay on the couch and watch TV with his foster mom. He's only just started jumping onto the sofa, and he's often doing binkies when he is let out of the pen. He would be a perfect companion for someone not wanting a cuddle bunny but instead mutual company. He takes a bit to warm up to people but appears to do well when you take a slow approach. He will easily allow you to groom him and trim his nails. He is being rehomed because the teenager who had him left for college in Aug. 2023.
