Holly Rabbit Satin & New Zealand Mix Bristol, CT

Holly was part of the Norwich Nine who joined Everybunny Counts right before Christmas of 2023. She had spent all of her life in an outdoor hutch prior to her rescue; now, she is loving life indoors with her other four-legged foster siblings! She tolerates her feline foster sibling and has gotten along okay with the other resident rabbit. We think she would make the perfect mate in a bonded pair!

Holly can by shy at first, but she warms up and quickly becomes a little sweet and sassy. She isn't a lap bunny, but she enjoys lounging close by for head pats. Each morning, she greets you by standing on her back feet to wait for breakfast and get some head scritches. The rest of the time, she enjoys relaxing in her space and tossing her stacking cups around. It takes Holly a little while to trust and try new things, but she has found she loves kale and likes banana. She is ok with being held if needed, but requires a lot of trust. She would do best in a family with older, quieter children who take the time to earn her trust and respect her needs.

Our adoption fee is $150. This fee covers the cost of general and veterinary care and spay/neuter procedures with a rabbit-trained exotics veterinarian. We adopt to Connecticut residents, and on a case by case basis, Massachusetts and New York residents. All rabbits are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
