Meet Hayward and Harriet (Union Grove foster home)

Harriet and Hayward are a beautiful bonded pair who were found in a box on a reservation and taken to a shelter in Hayward. Because they had some medical issues that the shelter was not able to deal with they were transferred to WHRS.
Their medical issues have been resolved and they are now healthy and waiting for their forever home.
Harriet is a very timid girl. She is having difficulties trusting humans (who can blame her) but she is trying to overcome this with the help of her foster mom.
Hayward (the lop) is much more willing to hang with humans for loving pets which he does enjoy. He is not as timid as Harriet and he can be startled easily but he is also working on this with his foster Mom.
They are both making progress and the perfect home would be a home without children and adult caregivers that would be patient and understanding. They would do best in a situation where they lived in a exercise pen - check out examples here-
https://www.sandiegorabbits.org/housing.php#xpen or had free roam of a rabbit safe room.
