Meet Guinness
Breed: American/Californian
Size: Medium
DOB: 03/17/2023
Reason in Rescue: Born at the shelter
Personality: inquisitive, friendly
Friends: I think I would make a good friend
Hi my name is Guinness. I was born at the shelter with my 9 siblings. We were born on St. Patrick's day so we all have Irish names. My siblings and I are all looking for our forever home. I am energetic, friendly and really curious. I am hoping to get a new home so I can get out and run and be spoiled. I like to be pet but I don't really like to be held very much. I am hoping that my new family will be happy sitting with me and petting me. Can you find the time to come to the shelter and meet me and my friends. We are all hoping to see you soon.
• Requirements •
Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with a large to x-large dog crate or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). We do not recommend plastic bottom cages or hutches.
• Adoption process •
An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.eriearearabbitsociety.org), and approved by our adoption committee. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. If you have any other questions you can email at eriearearabbitsocietyandrescue@gmail.com or call (814)838-9732.
• Recommended Food •
- Oxbow, Sherwood, Small Pet Select or Kaytee timothy pellets, about 1/4 cup per day
- Unlimited timothy hay
- 2-3 cups of fresh, dark leafy green vegetables per day
For a complete list of rabbit-friendly veggies, visit houserabbit.org.
