Meet Gray
Breed: Harelquin
Size: Medium
DOB: 07/28/2021
Reason in Rescue: Born at shelter
Personality: Sweet and Curious
Friends:
Hi may name is Gray. I was born at the shelter with 50 other babies. I bet the volunteers at the shelter weren't expecting all of us. But they did a great job taking care of us and getting us the vet care we needed to be able to be adopted. I am a sweet boy, I may be a little shy at first, but I love to explore my area when I am out. I love to periscope and look around when I am exploring. I can't wait for my humans to come adopt me.
• Requirements •
Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with a large to x-large dog crate or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). We do not recommend plastic bottom cages or hutches.
• Adoption process •
An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.eriearearabbitsociety.org), and approved by our adoption committee. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. If you have any other questions you can email at eriearearabbitsocietyandrescue@gmail.com or call (814)838-9732.
• Recommended Food •
- Oxbow, Sherwood, Small Pet Select or Kaytee timothy pellets, about 1/4 cup per day
- Unlimited timothy hay
- 2-3 cups of fresh, dark leafy green vegetables per day
For a complete list of rabbit-friendly veggies, visit houserabbit.org.
• Bedding •
