Fiji Rabbit Lionhead & American Mix Cream Ridge, NJ

Fiji came to as a part of a litter of 7 babies that were taken in as part of the "Trenton Bunnies" rescue. A woman had tried to help her neighbors who were moving out of the country and was told that none of the rabbits were pregnant. Well, we know how that goes! We made several trips to Trenton to rescue and place over 30 rabbits in September when Fiji was a tiny newborn!

Fiji is a mix of several breeds - Lionhead, likely some American White and everything adorable. He was born August 31st, 2023 and bonded quickly to his brother, Freebird. However after almost a year, Freebird jumped ship (literally jumped!) in his foster home and left Fiji for another bonded pair. While we're happy for the trio, poor Fiji was left on the outs and we'd really like to find him another bondmate quickly.

Since Fiji was bonded for most of his life, these pictures and videos show his with his brother. Fiji, like his namesake, is the bun who is pure white like the sands of Fiji!

Fiji is sweet and affectionate but he's also a champion at zoomies. He's adventurous and always up on his hind legs trying to see everything going on around him. He loves dig boxes, bamboo and tossing his toys around the pen.

Fiji would love his future bondmate to know that he's a great groomer, will absolutely share his pellets and he doesn't mind if you get first dibs on the fresh hay in the litter box.
