Meet Cricket
Cricket is a very sweet young female bunny. She was abandoned in a neighborhood yard in Auburn, AL. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan family brought her to safety and fostered her while she was spayed and vaccinated. As of December 2023, she has moved to Huntsville and is being fostered here.
We think her breed may be silver rabbit or mini satin mix or similar. She is about 4 lbs and her build is petite, with a small narrow face. Her fur is an almost-blue gray color and her eyes match. She's a very special little beauty.
Cricket is in need of a loving home where she can receive a lot of attention. She is estimated to be around 6 months old as of October 2023. She’s very very playful and energetic! She likes to keep busy and loves affection and head rubs. Just like a little kid, she loves to run and play, and nap times are serious business!
Cricket has a record with Dr. West at All Creatures Veterinary, where she was spayed and vaccinated against RHDV2. She has also seen Dr. Graham at Huntsville Veterinary Specialists & Emergency. She was a model patient at both clinics and received many compliments on her good nature.
Her personality is very playful, happy, and very affectionate. She loves toys! She loves gentle people. She loves petting and attention. She is a very sweet little bunny. We would love to put her in a good bunny-savvy indoor forever home! We truly want the best for Cricket.
Rabbits can live 10-12 years with good care, and should be kept indoors, where they can get attention and love, be kept in a safe environment from pests and predators, and at a comfortable temperature. We would love to help you learn about bunny care if you are considering adoption. Foster-to-adopt is also an option.
If you are interested in adopting Cricket, please submit an adoption or foster form (for foster-to-adoption option) on our website: www.huntsvillehouserabbits.com
Adoption fee for a single bunny is $100 and includes spay and RHDV2 vaccination.
