Meet Cody (New Berlin foster home)
Cody is a sweet little fellow and is friendly. He enjoys gentle pets.
He is deaf, so this needs to be considered when learning how to interact with him so as not to startle him. He needs to see you, so he is aware you are near him as he will not hear you approach or any sound you might make. His world is silent. Because of his lop ears he does not have the full line of vision up eared rabbits would have either, so you need to always make sure you are in his line of vision. He does startle easily when he is touched suddenly not knowing who is touching him. He needs to be aware of your presence.
Because of this he needs a patient, understanding and gentle human companion.
If you think you can be that perfect human caretaker and companion for Cody got to www.wisconsinhrs.org and fill out our adoption application on our adoptions page.
