Chocolate* Rabbit Havana Mix Washington, DC

Chocolate is an elderly bunny somewhere between 9-11 years old. She unfortunately was not socialized very well when she was young so she can still be standoffish. She does love to eat hay, with treats of blueberries and apples. She does get a little too excited when it’s feeding time and will charge to get there faster. She does like to chew, so sticks are a favorite activity.

She is used to living free roam in a room with her hay and water in the corner. She is litter trained but will act out when she’s angry and refuse to use it. Chocolate needs a patient retirement home to live out her twilight years, so if you are the special person with room in their heart for this bun please contact crouchkatie80@gmail.com for more information. Friends of Rabbits is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue operating in the greater DC-metro area. We take rabbits at risk of euthanasia from shelters in Maryland, DC and Virginia. We also rescue abandoned and neglected rabbits and assist with large confiscation cases. We provide foster homes and veterinary care for our rabbits, have them spayed/neutered and find them new forever homes through our adoption programs.
