Meet Buttermilk

Our little cow-lookalike Buttermilk is sweet as can be. Despite an incredibly rough beginning, she is settling into the spoiled life. Miss Buttermilk is looking for a caring home full of love who will help her with trust and making sure she is in the best of health.

Although her quiet demeanor might suggest otherwise, this little lady is a fighter. Buttermilk was found to have reproductive cancer when she went in for her spay surgery. Luckily, our fantastic vet was able to remove the whole thing, and Buttermilk's follow-up scans have come back cancer-free. She will require annual cancer scans going forward, but we expect her to live a happy, healthy life.

Want to spoil our sweet girl with all the love and attention in the world? Apply to adopt Buttermilk today!

Our adoption fee is $150. This fee covers the cost of general and veterinary care and spay/neuter procedures with a rabbit-trained exotics veterinarian. We adopt to Connecticut residents, and on a case by case basis, Massachusetts and New York residents. All rabbits are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

If you are interested in adopting Buttermilk, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.everybunnycountsct.org/adoption/. Please give our volunteer team up to 10 days to reply to your application. We may reach out by phone or email. Thank you!
