Baby lop- eared rabbits dumped by owner, searching for their new home! Currently Located in Howell, NJ

I was contacted by someone the other day because they purchased 2 “holland lop” rabbits from a “breeder” on Instagram a few weeks ago. They said that the rabbits were taking up too much room in their house, and they were not what they were expecting as new pet owners. The owner stated that she was unable to reach the “breeder” that they purchased the rabbits from, and were at the point where they were just going to let them outside.

After hearing this I was able to educate the owner about how domestic rabbits should never be let loose outside; and that they ultimately would suffer if they were left to fend for themselves. Despite being at capacity at the moment I agreed to take in these two innocent little boys. I believe they are French or English lop mixed, and are approximately 3 months old.

Both boys will need to be neutered, but I am hoping to find a family for them separately, as male rabbits tend to not get along great with each other. I’d love to find each boy a spayed female rabbit companion, as rabbits are social and do like to have friends!
