Astoria Rabbit Lionhead Bristol, CT

Astoria is our independent woman of the rescue! This funny, sassy lionhead is sure to make you laugh with zoomies, binkies, and finding the high ground in her space. She is very food motivated and likes to be in on the action, exploring around her and checking in on what her people are doing. Her favorite thing to do is zoom through her crinkle tunnel and do binkies when she is let out of her pen in the morning. She doesn't play with too many toys, but loves any puzzle toy or forager that involves food or treats. She also loves kale and spring mix with the occasional banana treat, but is none too fond of cilantro or parsley. Her litter box habits are perfection. Astoria always wants to know what's going on and will come to eat treats from your hand and climb on you if you lay still. Affection, though, is very much on her terms, and while she will come hang out with you, she is not yet comfortable with being pet. We think she would be best in a home with older children who understand her boundaries, although she was unbothered by her pug foster sibling, and she may do well with a very relaxed bunny partner. Our adoption fee is $150. We adopt to Connecticut residents, and on a case by case basis, Massachusetts and New York residents. All rabbits are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
