Meet Apollo

Please check you junk/spam folder if you inquire about a rabbit and do not see a reply.

INDOOR ONLY HOMES, PLEASE

Apollo was rescued by some trash cans in the Inland Empire. He allowed his rescuers to scoop him right up.

He was neutered October 7, 2024. He is vaccinated against RHDV2. His estimated date of birth is June 2024.

Apollo is another fabulous bun available for adoption! His fur is extremely soft. He is energetic but absolutely loves and craves attention by stroking his head. He will tooth purr.

He is curious, funny and super friendly.

Apollo should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Apollo can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
