Hi, I’m Buddy! I’m a calm, gentle soul who loves a quiet and comfortable space to relax. I’m fully housebroken and leash trained, and I’m still working on being comfortable in a kennel. I know commands like Stay and Leave It, so I’m pretty well-mannered if I do say so myself. I love a good rub and always appreciate a little extra attention from my favourite people.

A few years ago, I had a tough time after being hit by a car and lost one of my hind legs, but it hasn’t slowed me down! I’ve adapted just fine and still enjoy life to the fullest.

I get along well with other dogs after a slow introduction, though I haven’t been around kids or cats yet. My personality is all about trust and love — once I get to know you, I’m your buddy for life but I do like to ease into new friendships. I’m not the loud type; I prefer peaceful moments and soaking up all the affection I can get. Kids can be a bit loud and quick-moving so I feel like I'd prefer a home with older children who can respect my space and boundaries.
