Well hello everyone, my name is Starke. I'm told that I am pretty special which is why they named me after a super special lady. They said I would have been just her kind of dog.

I'm fully kennel trained and house trained but I could use someone to help me keep working on my leash manners. The world is so exciting and I just want to go make friends with every person I see. I have loved with cats and have done well with them, so would be more than willing to share a home with one. I have made friends with other dogs but do not want to share my space or my human's attention so require a home with no other dogs.

I'm looking for a home that understands the true value in staying in to snuggle on the couch with me as a weighted blanket. I'm super smart so learning with me is a must!
