Hello! I’m Apollo. I'm told that I'm a sweetheart just learning the ropes of my new city life. I like to think of myself as a bit of a Christmas miracle since I came into care just before the holidays. When I first arrived, all the new sounds and sights of the city were a bit overwhelming, but I’ve adjusted quickly and am ready to take on the world with my forever family by my side.

I have never learned to enjoy my kennel but I’m respectful and can be trusted to be left out on my own. I’m fully house trained and know how to sit on command but I’m still working on my leash skills. An obedience class would be a great way to help me learn and boost my confidence at the same time!

I get along well with other dogs and cats. I haven't met any kids while in care but I’m such a chill, loving, and passive pup that I think I’d do great with them. I’m a little nervous around new people at first, but it doesn’t take long for me to warm up, and once I do, I’ll be handing out kisses in no time!

I love treats, belly rubs, and being out in the snow. Foster mom says I’m the “most perfect boy in the world,” and I think she might be onto something. When my people come home, I’m always waiting eagerly with a wagging tail and all the love I can give. When I came into care we found out that I have something called Heartworm. Doesn't sound very fun but MUR has helped me get through treatment and I'm on the mend!
