Meet Tabitha
Tabitha is a gentle, affectionate girl, still adjusting to being back indoors. She loves to be petted, but prefers to sit by, and on, your feet to lying in your lap.
As a baby she was rescued from the outdoors in a trailer park and spent her first few months inside with other cats, being loved and cared for.
Then her rescuer died suddenly and when his family entered the trailer she bolted outside and was not found for a few months, until she showed up at a nearby location where other strays were being fed, with two kittens! (Tigerlily and Thomasina who are now about 7 weeks old, weaned, but still with Tabitha in her foster home.)
Fortunately she was still people friendly and she and her babies were brought to HART.
She is considered a domestic short hair, tabby mix, approximately 1 year old..
She is used to other cats, but we don't know how she will react around dogs or young children.
A tale of survival, Tabitha has beaten the odds several times but now it is time for her to find her permanent home, perhaps with you?
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
