Bourbon Jr American Shorthair Mix Brooklyn, NY

Bourbon Ju was rescued from a shelter as a 3 week old little kid. He was nursed by a step kitty mom Calzone (also available for adoption) even though he was a little older than her own kittens. Everyone got along splendidly. After he was weaned Bourbon Jr moved in to a foster home and made friends with 3 resident cats. He loves them all. The human foster parents love him to pieces. He has a giant goofy personality and so much love to give.

Bourbon Jr is about 2 months old (as of Nov 20), tested negative for FIV and FELV and is vaccinated according to his age. He will have to get neutered and get his rabies vaccine - in a few weeks - we will arrange for it and he can be adopted to a qualified home before he is neutered provided that his adopters will work with us to bring him back for the surgery which is covered by the adoption fee.

Bourbon needs a playmate in his new home and will only be adopted along with another cat or kitten UNLESS there is already a cat, cat loving dog or a bunny in his new home.


All cats and kittens are rescues either from the street, abandoned or pulled off the euthanasia list at the city shelter. All are vaccinated, FIV/FELV tested, de-wormed, spayed/neutered (if old enough) and are delivered to your home. If the kitten is not old enough to be spayed/neutered we will do so at a later date, post-adoption. All adoptions require an application and donation.
