Sansa - URGENT! FOSPICE APPROVED! Boxer Mix Harvey , LA

This pet is urgent and needs a foster/forever home as soon as possible. Please consider fostering/adopting this pet before “quality of life” or space becomes an issue and we are forced to make a hard decision.

Sansa is a 38 pound sweetheart. She is a wiggly and happy girl who lights up the room when she enters. She lived with another dog, in her former home; however, she can be dog specific so we recommend a meet and greet at the shelter with any dogs in the home to be safe. She walks on a leash and seems familiar with "sit." She was well behaved the day she was front office dog, and enjoyed taking naps in the dog bed. We hope she has one in her new home. She is about 5 years old.

This pet is approved for our fospice program, which means that the adoption fee is waived and all reasonable medical costs the shelter can provide will be provided at no cost to the adopter for the remainder of this pet's life for an approved adopter. Sansa has mast cell cancer, but from her happy behavior, we get the impression that she feels great. There is no telling how long she has - a year or many years. We just want her have a great home were she will be comfortable and loved.
