Meet Garfield and Jon
Name: Garfield and Jon
Gender: Males
DOB: August 2016
Description: Orange and white tabbies
GARFIELD & JON are sweet, fun-loving and affectionate kitties. They are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. When separated, they often call out to each other to see what the other one is doing. Very cute!
These boys love hanging out with their foster parents - Garfield is over-the-top affectionate, while Jon is more reserved. They are moderately playful and equally matched during play time. They take turns initiating play, chasing and wrestling with each other and playing with toys. They have wonderful purr motors and sleep next to each other or next to you when play-time is over.
GARFIELD has a typical orange tabby personality - both playful and laid-back in one package. He settles into a new home almost immediately. Garfield has super soft fur and looks for his foster mom's lap after meals for some cuddling and petting. Garfield adores human affection and likes to be picked up and held. He is a true lap cat!
JON is a bit more reserved than Garfield. He needs a little more reassurance with new people in a new home. But within a couple of days, Jon is right there with his brother looking for play-time and people-time. Jon likes to initiate contact with you and jumps into your lap and gives you head-butts when he wants your attention.
These boys are looking for a calm environment to settle into with no other pets or young children now or in the future. They came into our care from a local shelter with their siblings (Pookie, Odie, Squeak & Nermal - adopted!).
