Meet Dewey

Dewey is a sweet boy, 5 yrs old hound/pitbull mix. He was an owner giveup to a shelter in Va. He was much loved, but not well taken care of. When we got Dewey he had an ear infection and a skin infection and he wanted to drink water as soon as we filled his bowl. We did blood tests and got him on antibiotics for the rest. His bloodwork showed he was all good, no problems. He knows Sit, and shake hands. His ideal home would be with a man or woman who is looking for a nice mellow companion dog. Dewey just wants to please and is very obedient. A home without cats and one with older or no kids is best. Dewey is good with dogs his size or larger.
