YUKIO Tabby & Siamese Mix Grand Rapids, MI

We simply could not have asked for a more terrific trio of fancy-schmancy felines, so stunning and striking that they have been known to take the breath away of many a smitten volunteer! I am not certain exactly where the beautiful boys originated from, but what I do suspect is that Fujiko (born in the spring of 2013) is the father of Yoshimitsu and Yukio (born in the spring of 2014) although he was the only one neutered at the time of their arrival right before Christmas, 2016. You couldn’t ask for a more stunning sample of Siamese/Snowshoe/stripey (yes, that IS a word) cats if you tried—they are THAT drop-dead gorgeous! And not only are they incredibly easy on the eyes, but they each have absolutely amazing personalities and have adjusted to indoor shelter life with enthusiasms and eagerness; in fact, they were door darters from the minute we set them up in the intake suite, awaiting their photo ops and allowing them time to acclimate (which they didn’t really need at all)!

Although they came in as a presumed family, they really aren’t that interested in hanging out together, but more so in roaming and running rampant from one end of the building to the other with pure, unadulterated glee! Although father Fujiko appears to be the least outgoing of the troops, he is not exactly what you would call shy. And tantalizing tabby Yukio takes about two minutes to warm up to new people, then all he wants to do is live on your lap! And Yoshimitsu?! THIS DUDE IS DA BOMB! Yup, we lucked out when these cats came our way, and I can almost guarantee you that the threesome won ‘t be residents here at Crash’s for very long at all, so consider this fair warming all of you love-struck volunteers: get your fill while the guys are gracing us with their presence!
