Meet Rio
Hey there, Rio here! I have finished my career as a professional athlete. Ahhh...retirement to Washington state is going to be great. I'm in the market for a house and family. They call me friendly and outgoing, kind of a people pleaser". AND I FETCH! That's a rare trait in a greyhound if you didn't already know that. I also really enjoy getting out and about with my foster family.
I don't mind a crate and I sure do love stuffed toys! Be sure you have a budget for my stuffies, hehe.
If you're my forever family you'll need to keep an eye on me around small dogs. And let's just skip the cats, they remind me of squeaky toys.
Foster Home Update: Rio has adapted well to our home. No accidents in the house. He's a friendly guy. Loves to go for walks. And likes scratching himself on bushes as he walks by. Gets along well with our lab but is very interested in other dogs especially small ones.
Around the house he is very quiet and inquisitive. He likes sleeping on his pillow. When hears the garage door open he cries a little knowing someone is coming home. He also has taken an interest in television after he saw a video of our dog on it. Now he is alert when he hears other dogs on it. Once he saw someone drop a ball on tv and he started looking around the room below the tv for it.
He is a real people person.
A fenced yard is required to adopt Rio.
Give me a chance to show you just how much I will melt your heart. If you'd like to meet me email an application to info@royalhounds.org. Applications can be found at the bottom of this web page -http://www.royalhounds.org/adopt.html
