Meet Rachel
Meet our awesome girl, Rachel, a spayed, 2-year-old Rottweiler mix with a smile that can't help but make you smile yourself.
Earlier this year, Rachel was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and, in spite of dietary supplements and physical therapy, her pain was preventing her from living life to the fullest. Rachel has undergone successful surgery on both hips to correct the issue. Throughout everything, she has been such a trooper! She is working really hard in physical therapy to help strengthen her muscles. In no time, she will be back to doing all the outdoor activities she loves - going for walks, lazing about outside on a sunny day, and playing with her favorite, low-tech toy (sticks). She can't wait to be strong enough to play with other dogs too!
Rachel is house trained & crate trained. This 53-pound pup is a very sweet, friendly and playful girl who adores people and loves to snuggle! While Rachel loves people of all ages, she would do best in a home that does not have children & family well versed in/committed to using positive training techniques.
Rachel is not cat-friendly so she is not recommended for families that have cats.
