Meet Poppy Cat
16-year old Poppy Cat and his brother, Victor, found themselves at Chicago Animal Care and Control. A cage is no place for a senior animal, so we brought them into Hospice Hearts to a comfy foster home.
Poppy Cat is very social and likes to think he runs the house. He is very protective of his brother, Victor, and enjoys lounging on tall cat perches.
Poppy Cat was recently diagnosed as hyperthyroid. The medicine made him very sick but we are working to get the dosage under control and get him feeling and looking better soon.
